Oh it's a necro. I was wondering why people were saying Heimer was a strong choice.

Fiddle works great, and his life drain does not cancel on pool.

I've run in to vlad a few times in top lane as akali. I had no problems killing him.

I've had success with a very aggressive Cassi pre-6, but you have to get early spellvamp to maintain your edge against him. Cassi can spam out the damage quicker than he can heal it back, and poisons still stick when he trollpools.

Morde - Shield and Sustain

Karthus - Range farm until late late game where you melt everyone to half-health with just your Ult alone... and then there's your three other abilities and your passive

Heimer - Because he has to pay dearly for any harass he puts on you

Fiddlesticks - Drain vs Drain, Fiddles can drain through the Vlad Pool. Heavy on the mana pool though if you intend to trade a lot.
