It seems like riot only works on what they love and what their artists want to do.. there is no "standard legendary" and it makes problems.

Anything else gets pushed fast before anything inconvient "christmas"
And when they release things it's "too late" and any additional work is set on the shelf.

They already are trying to implement features that another BETA of a game has with its artistic style figured out.

Blood Lord Vlad isn't lacking - it's a great Legendary. That skin is amazing, and a lot of people are satisfied with it. If you're not, I'm sorry, but I don't know what else to tell you.

I also don't really care much for sibling syndrome on this. I don't want to hold back making cool stuff because everything we had done previously wasn't the same.

What's up, Morello?! Good evening.

Just arrived home after a session of The Avengers (awesome movie btw, really funny and all).

And yeah, this: "I don't want to hold back making cool stuff because everything we had done previously wasn't the same."

Thank you for saying that.

As morello said he's already messed around on internal servers with the skin, but for some that may sound like it's completed and ready to ship, even though being able to use it on internal servers doesn't mean it's been through bug testing or anything like that.

Would it at all be possible to have a chart or graph of some kind that just displays each step of the dev process and how long (on average, not in specific situations like this) a project will be in that step? So in the case of skins it would be something like this (just as an example, I have no idea what the names of the steps actually are):

Skins - Concept art (2-3 weeks) --------------- 3d modeling (1 week) ---------------- Texture implementation (1 week) ------------- Modeling Animation (3-4 weeks) --------------------- Voice Overs (2-3 days) -------------- Advertisement creation [Ex. Trailers] (1 week)

Then for parallel processes like the coding and whatnot you could have a separate chart consisting of the technical steps.

Finally, with something like this when the forums are abuzz and the community just wants to have an idea of where a project sits you can just refer to the chart/graph and we'll have an idea of whether it's even remotely close to completion or if it's the day before the release trailer. As time goes on we would be able to judge for ourselves how long these projects are at a step, and it could create massive hype every time it moves up a step towards completion.

I would love to hear what you guys think of the idea, even if it's just a "sorry that's not feasible in any way" or "We'll look into it" type of response

It won't happen they want you to spend more money and time on this game then any other traditional price for a title.

No double IP weekends, no rested IP. And for those who want to argue about the free RP on holiday. That was just enough RP to BARLEY get something.

And their sad excuse of "Retiring skins" really old skins made years ago when your artist's wrist was shaking? Put them on sale, and bait and switch the **** out of any other on champ release skin when were ready to give them a third.

*edit* Blood lord vlads particles and animations are lack luster in comparison to galio. All that RP for a voice change and a re used particle on enemies effected with hemoplague?

A death animation where vlad's model is sinking in the game floor while his limbs move like a robot?
So silly.

I'm hoping that what's being added is maybe something more related to DBZ, due to who the voice actor is.

Maybe when another team gets feed or someone on the other team hits 18 first, he shouts the over 9k line. XD

I don't know about this, because in a lot of cases these change as we try to do more - for example, exposing this means that when it changes, people get mad about how we do things (as opposed to what we do). Players should hold us accountable to results, and reality and expectations management is our job - even a pipeline isn't complete information on what development challenges are.

What about Magnificent Twisted Fate? :[
You've left the 'Magnificent Twisted Fate Left in the Dust' thread by Quintessence for a hella long time now.
