@Morello - Why nerf Warwick?

Cause after one QQ of his sustain people were complaining how unkillable he is late game and how his kit is so broken, even though it has 4 skills instead of 7 like most new champions. That nerf to his Q weakened his late game a lot, nerfing it means less sustain and damage for him late game meaning, tankiness, Damage output and dueling power got hit pretty hard. standard math, late game they took 80 damage from his Q as well as 70 Health recovered.

2000*16=320

2000*20=400

320*0.80=256 Health gained back

400*0.80=320 healed back

Now factor in MR and the heal and damage is even less.

To be honest. The nerf if not that bad. =]

I jungle Wick all the time. I'm just gald they just did not hike up the mana costs like planned. =]

Doran ring makes it spamtastic and ridiculously powerful toplane. He was first pick or ban for the past few weeks.

Same here, though it's a bit noticeable late game when you get there, Hopefully FotM players just leave him for the next FoTM.

Although I know many won't agree, I am okay with the recent Q nerf. It is certainly noticeable if you calculate the math in terms of what you were capable of, but in terms of the history of Warwick nerfs, this return to 16% a max rank is not that different from the Warwick of 2009 who had 15%. Is this damage less? yes. Is it still a decent amount, I think so.

Moreover, I am just thankful the mana-cost of hungering strike wasn't increased to 120 as the PBE tinkered with.

Also: this will lead to decreased fotm ppl playing Warwick which is always nice. "cries of overnerfed, and omgwtfbbq etc" irrational.

At 70 mana at lvl 1 out of a pool of 220 and 6 second cooldown with scaling mana costs
Please explain to me how a dorans ring (imo it is the worst item in the game) with a measly 5 mana regen per 5 makes it spammable?
I'd get a philo --> elesias for mana for warwick

And how mundo who's Q does 25% and has waaaay more sustain then warwick, jungles faster and is cooldown/health champ did not outshine old warwick?

P.S. old Q for warwick had 100% healing, not like hiis current Q

WW was annoyingly strong in lane 1v1 vs anyone. As long the WW was conservative and played smart you couldn't get pushed out lane and could push anyone out of lane with no counter-play whatsoever.

Why do people comment on champs being touched, only reason i can think of is because you play those champs. I have not once cared about a champ nerf because it never directly effect the champ i played. Whenever i see nerfs i have a big smile on my face. Its so funny =)

The fact that Warwick has counter-play does not mean he's weak. His jungle speed is also not "molasses," nor is he any more Golem Buff reliant than any other jungler. You don't have to spam Q to jungle.

The nerf is aimed at how much "free" damage Warwick deals for only building tanky/CDR. He can still build for on-hit and attack speed via Wit's End and the like, and he can build AP to ensure more damage on Q to lower-health targets. However, the tank build's just doing too much damage.
