If you're assuming you're you, there's a chance you're not you, which means that because we believe you're you, and you might not be you, we might not be us?

The marking of possessive case (as in the cat's whiskers).
The marking as plural of written items that are not words established in English orthography (as in P's and Q's, the late 1950's). The use of the apostrophe to form plurals of proper words, as in apple's, banana's, etc., is universally considered incorrect.)"

You were saying?
The possessive case of "it" is "its". "It's" is reserved solely to mean "it is".
It's just like how you don't say "they's", but, instead, "their".

Encouraged by the parrot himself?

Or not as it may be....

Blast that pending Pride and Prejudice paper, even with all its alliteration.
I'll end my current flooding of this thread with one more post,

The sun always sets, to hide all its lies.

The moon always rises, to share all its secrets.
Perhaps the wording of the final line would be different, but I think the theme is what we'll see appear.

The second sentence while almost wholly conjecture, does bring to bear nice antithesis and gives hope for a Moonlit Maid... *fingers crossed*
