Varus's base stats

5% max hp magic damage per hit, has to cast a spell to use stacks 3 times. If his skills are on cooldown he cannot proc it and the damage is wasted. He cannot attack while casting skills.

Kog Maw - Near 100% upkeep with enough cdr, 6% on every hit instantly. Scales insanely with attackspeed.


He is weak compared to other carries.

you're leaving out Vayne's base true damage on her silver bolts in addition to the percent based damage. Also, you forgot her ultimate. Both of these things give her high steroid damage when she needs it most.

Kog maw's steroid is also still infinitely better.

Where are you pulling those base stats from?

we have the accurate Varus base stats on our champions page here: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/champi...of_retribution

base armor is 13.5, falling in behind graves and MF but higher than Ashe and Vayne.

13.5+3.4 = 16.9. You add one scaling value to the base for total level 1 stats.
