plz can you propose to the staff the idea of not auto re queueing players who dont pick a champ in champion selection?
If the 60seconds expires and someone does not pick a champs, it is mostly because he is AFK at that moment, and normally he will not even show up.
Up to here, it is not a big deal, you know, someone will dodge to avoid playing a 4v5 and you get requeued automatically. The problem raises when the system matches you again with the same AFKer who didnt pick a champion on last queue. It happens to me everytime there is an AFK, I get matched again with the same guy who get the random champion (or sometimes he gets matched to the enemy team). But the result is always the same, the AFKer goes 0/0/0.
I'm sure you can fix this somehow because it is really annoying, as for all the ppl who will dodge the queue with that AFK requeued guy as for the ppl who do not dodge and goes directly to a 4v5

TL;DR: If someone gets the random champ on champion selection and for some reason (teammate dodges), do not re queue the guy who got the random champ, as he obviously is not ready to play

On the rare occasion when I get a completely random team and happen to get 1st or second pick I'd really like to play the role of my choice, there is always a 4th or fifth pick who 'calls' the role I would like however and then proceeds to troll the game if I don't defer. This means that if I don't want dumb trolls who 'call' positions losing me all of my games I never get to play mid or top which I find to be the most fun. This isn't as much of a problem for me if I'm playing ranked since I'm going to do everything in my power to put all my team-mates in the role & champ they feel they are best at. However if I solo-queue for normal draft and get the happy surprise of being second pick I want to get a little bit of picking priority for once since I find myself getting forced to support all the time for 4 man pre-mades.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, maybe I'm wrong for thinking that I should get a higher priority in champ select if I'm first or second pick. That said if there was some sort of established ettiquette( even if it is not the ettiquette I think is correct) it might alleviate alot of these situations.

rjcombo's team is working this issue and they intend to drop players out of the queue if they are AFK instead of auto re-queuing. He might drop in this thread and talk more about it when there's more details but there's no ETA for now.

I look forward to it being fixed I really hate more when I d/c actually (which doesn't happen often, but does) and ruin someone's game. If I have a d/c on my team, I'm sad, but I deal with it. When I d/c... I feel shamed

I really love hearing that, but I have to bring up. Why is it IP rewards are so much lower than what the player base wants. For months on end people made threads showing how the IP system gives too little amount of IP (probably even less now) to get stuff in any reasonable amount of time. People have mostly given up since it seems to lay on deaf ears... but.. ya

For the most part I DO agree that Riot does try and do what they can for player experience, but in some areas, obviously there are compromises :P And I know this has absolutely NOTHING to do with your work so I don't blame you and, honestly, I don't blame anyone.

also some times you want to report someone and you have been disconnected from chat system for what ever reason, which also stops you from reporting stuff

Do you have any plans about changing the way matchmaking match players with different / similar minds? Let say that you are the player who like to have map control. Can matchmaking match you with those who also like to have map control instead of those who never use any wards? I realize that there may be a way to abuse it, but im willing to show you few examples how to prevent it.

The system can count let say max 2 wards every 3mins, when the ward expire. This way those who were warding whole game will get more points than those who simply spammed 31241 wards at the end of the game. Ofc keep in mind that this doesnt give any Elo points. It's used only to match players with similar minds to improve their experience.
