Well, it is 16 characters (though that's still only a theory, twice is coincidence), but I'm not sure that fits with the theme as presented thus far. "From" I do agree with, but I think "Good" would be more fitting given the context than "Evil".

If it's haiku form and the 16 character thing was coincidence I'd say it's probably "turn away from light".

Well, since it's the sun doing the lying, I don't see why the sun would still be considered good. Doesn't mean it's evil but maybe it's more sacrilegious/false (goes along with heresy),

I'm thinking more of a turn from the dawn, embrace the dusk type working.

I would expect that there are going to be two sections again, so:
Turn away from evil

Or even
Turn away from good

Tend to be conclusive, or rather not leave a strong chance of a second section afterward.
