I find the RIOT employees very dedicated to their work in answering their fans/players questions and concerns. For example: the upcoming patch will change everyone's experience on Summoner's Rift as it visually looks astounding and players' FPS will dramatically increase with the rework they have been working on. However, there are a few topics I would like committed players and RIOT employees to deliberate.

Many times I find myself queued with a derp, troll, and/or AFK player in matchmaking. It irritates me more than anything that these people have no regard for playing a team game. Their entire objective is to make it irksome for everyone and I'm confident anyone reading this knows exactly what I'm talking about. Therefore, I propose a vote kick option be instated in champion selection lobbies. I recommend a majority vote be required to eject desired player from lobby and restrict them from entering another queue for a minimum for five minutes. If the player is extruded from another lobby within a designated time period, I advocate for an extended restriction of activity from said player. You may say some players may attempt to abuse this system by choosing to vote kick innocent players. To help prevent this, I suggest four of the five team members choose to exclude a player from the lobby instead of the minimum of three. However, on the chance that some people may be duo queuing, the majority rule of three persons should be valid terms of dismissal. I believe many players will agree that instating a system like this will help sort out discourteous players and improve an individual's overall experience, especially in solo ranked queues.

The second topic I wish to discuss is more elementary, yet still poses ample consideration. Simply put, I would like to be able to chat with the enemy team during champion selection. I know, simple huh?

That completes all I have to voice on propositions for the growth and development of League of Legends produced for the devoted players that appreciate the notion of considerateness as well as amenability.

What if there is a premade of four and they want to troll the one solo queue player?

This idea works much better with ranked queues and I see your point in the normal game variants. It is much more difficult to accommodate for the normal game mode although I believe action can be taken as long as the right rules are set in place. Any suggestions?

If you want to kick someone out of games for 5 mins you should be willing to kick yourself out for 5 mins as well.

If you face trolls so often as to increase waits that often... Something is more likely wrong with you.

If a troll got kicked as well as the other people that voted to kick him out, it is possible that the same grouping of players may be teamed up again. And its not that it occurs often, but when it does occur, it poses a problem for everyone, not just me.

Instead of preventing a player from joining a queue, what would you say if the votekick option auto-ignored the player you votekicked so you don't get grouped with him the next time you join a lobby. Regardless, the initial lobby must be cancelled for this to work.

Regarding AFK players in champion select: There are some good solutions to this problem and it's an issue we're actively looking in to.

While I can't speak much for the troll scenario on a high level, the vote kicking system idea does surface now and then. My recollection of these discussions is that such a system would still have a large enough amount of edge/abuse cases that time would be better spent on improving the overall experience (i.e. filtering out AFK players, improving matchmaking, etc). If you want to see these discussions in more detail, here's a good thread. This isn't to say that such a system is completely off the table! I just think there are much better wins for us to tackle first

I don't really see this happening. Is the magnitude of the potential issues this could bring up (Having a teammate leak your plans / intended picks to the enemy team, harassment, etc) worth the positive stuff you'd get in return? As much as I love making pleasant discussion with the other team, I feel like I get enough opportunities to do this already. Do you have any compelling reasons why you want this feature?

This right here, I imagine is a good part of why they don't do it. Hell, even a duo queue ends up having more weight on the issue, and it just makes the vote pretty swayed. Also, say the person wants to play a character in an unusual role... They would rarely actually get this chance because their teams could just immediately be put off by it and vote them out of the game. Thusly, it would ruin the experience of a lot of our un-orthodox players. It's also an excuse to further bully players who aren't amazing at the game. You see them take a summoner you don't like or pick a character in a role that's not good and then all of a sudden everyone's trying to drop them from a game.

Queues could also negotiate terms by which, for example in a ranked game, if the other team looks too strong they could make an agreement and kick someone to force them all back in queue so they don't have to play against the team.

It's essentially just really unfair and easy to exploit.

First of all, thank you for the feedback and reasoning of what your team is trying to accomplish. It is good enough for me that you're already aware and have been active to try to solve problems like these. I don't know if you read my response to anu mara, but he prompted me to think of a less dramatic, yet still functioning solution.

Compelling? No. Just for the sake of being able to to communicate with the opposing team I find interesting. I had not thought of other players giving away strategy in this manner, but hey, that's just another reason to votekick/auto-ignore a troll-like player.
