*checks the names of his eleven rune pages*
First one used to be named "Plague Rat" (but I decided I played Udyr more than Twitch), second one's "Madman of Zaun," third's "Mad Chemist..." Last one even used to be "Storm's Fury."

+1

Screw this Demacia vs Noxus stuff.

Let's see us a Piltover vs Zaun war.

Followed by Ionia vs Bilgewater.

Demacia by definition is a homogenizing force. Noxus will always end up with more out there, oddball champions. Just the way the sides are set up.

If I recall correctly, Viktor is a Zaunite.

A society where power and respect is won through personal strength is pretty cool. We all kinda want to be that guy who defeats his rivals and rises to the top, sometimes. It's easy to create a lot of conflict and characters in a setting like that, too.

Zaun and Piltover are like rival college towns.

Pitlover vs Zaun is purely propaganda though about how freedom is an evil thing, particularly in the world of research and ethics. That is to say, free enterprise (zaun) = bad. Government domination of industry (Pitlover) is good.

They demonstrate this by making all Zaunite champions evil monsters (notice how nearly every character from Zaun can be described as a Sadist?), and all Pitlover champions paragons of justice.. the only "good" character (or at least, portrayed as good) from Zaun is notable to have fled the place as soon as she could... plus they show that, despite Zaun's lack of restraint on research and development, Pitlover is its technological equal on nearly every front (except the ones Pitlover doesn't practice because they're "evil", naturally), and even superior in some regards.

Ofc, Noxus vs Demacia is pretty much the same thing, only in the political and social scope rather than the scientific one. The depth of the conflict has largely been washed away in favor of Good ( shining knights fighting for justice and peace ) vs Evil ( slavering conquerors and psychopaths ).... where good is represented by George Orwell's 1984, and Evil is represented by a vague facsimile of any modern "free" state.

The message riot wants to get across is rather clear, if disappointing.
