Thank you very much for notifying us about the Lore.

I can see the limitations with the format of how things currently are, but I'd like to give praise for the silly entertainment and casual yet thought-provoking pieces from the Lore in the way that you have already presented it to us. I sincerely appreciate the fact that the summoners were provided with insight into the world of Runeterra through ways besides simple character bios and other not-as-interactive, huge walls of explanatory text. The expansion that was put behind all of the characters and stories and the mere fact that they all connected outside of the game and with their own personalities, interactions, and relationships genuinely interested me.

The Journal of Justice, especially, was a redeeming quality of the game that provided me with a little pastime activity as I sat in queue and waited during the loading screen. I absolutely adored the Journal of Justice. The humorous events that went on, the fun codes that the creators cleverly sneaked in, the creative Mailbag of Justice that gave us insight on what the community was curious about, the occasional interviews from our favorite champions--all of that--they all amused me immensely. And I had a ton of fun sharing the obvious (and the more discreet) stories with my fellow summoners. I will certainly miss the Journal of Justice.

Anyway, I definitely look forward to seeing more Lore and finding out what happens next!

I am going to bump this since people are running around like headless chickens wondering why JoJ is closed.

It's just in character. All of us are still around.

Since this is one place about the JoJ that Reds are actually paying attention to, I have to ask them here: People begged and begged about getting the JoJ back, then you give us 2 issues and say it'll be gone forever? Are you REALLY going to stop giving us lore outside of champion backstories?

I don't think they'll stop giving lores, as Ram Steed is back, and all fired up to gather reports, so it'll likely that he with couple of other reporters that still wants to inform the citizens will seek a way to get that out to us.

I'd like to know the above too. Unless, this is just the end of the present format for the sake of another way to deliver it?

Our approach is still the same as what was stated in the beginning of this thread: we're finishing the JoJ in favor of delivering lore by other methods. We absolutely want to do more than the champion bios you get with each release.

I can't give an ETA on this at all, and for that I'm sorry, but I want to clarify that this is not the end of lore--it's only the end of the JoJ as a vehicle for delivering lore and story development.

The idea is that lore will come back bigger and stronger, just in a different form. Until then, we have our very fun, if depressingly one-dimensional, game and something for which to hope and wait.
