You could read the ability and react to it previously, though. In fact, vision of the ultimate is unnecessary to know that you've been caught. Most people know they've been hit by the ultimate when they slow down to a crawl. From here, most players either try to get out (and sometimes succeed), or try to beeline towards the suspect bush in an attempt to CC him out of it. This is now infinitely easier, and there's not compensation for the champion along with the change, which is why I hope it's a glitch.
The change to Cho'Gath's spell was necessary as it was annoying how you'd never know exactly where it was in the bush (it was too hard to see). I expect that Kog'Maw's ultimate was changed as well so that it was easier to judge where it was when placed in a brush?
And how exactly do you plan on using Nunu's ultimate now whatsoever? In fact, how often did you see Nunu in competitive matches before this huge nerf to his
ultimate?
