500?

Check the thread Morello, it has 17,000 upvotes for Prissy.

In the context of League of Legends, I'd interpret this quote here...
...to mean that, as a long-term goal, they'd like for players to be able to have a deeper connection with the "idea" of Fizz than just 'He's sort of a fish champion,' to understand what sway angels and demons hold over Runeterra, to "get" what Irelia and Yi and Karma are about (beyond just a vague, solemn sense of balance and religion).
Good explanation - all true

Edit: Infact i think the only time a floating eye was ever done well, was in WoW and it was used more as a joke and had no real purpose in the game.
Come on now.

@Riot: Do you guys have any plans to revive Omen, even if it's just a "frankenstein" of his beta incarnation?

Let's put it this way... if Riot wants money, let's say that when/if the Spider Queen were to be released, all, hypothetically, 17,000+ people bought 10$ worth of RP, cause let's face it, she'd be 975rp/6300ip.

That's already 170,000$ from just that.

Granted, there's no way to say that all 17,000 would buy her at all, or how many would buy rp and just use ip, but, you'd definitely break even it seems by paying the design team, voice actor, etc.

It's actually approaching 18,000 votes for her to be taken out of the garbage can for us to play.

40+ pages and several other threads into this and you still don't understand that most people are less likely to develop interest in gross champions because of their appearance? I keep reading these kinds of posts and there is a section of players that seems extremely resistant to the notion that their taste for champions like Trundle and Urgot (for aesthetic reasons) puts them in the minority.

You don't even need Riot's data to know this. A basic understanding of human psychology is enough.

EDIT: By the way, people who enjoy gross champions are more likely to keep tabs on a thread like this than those who don't. Keep that in mind before you seek popular refuge in fellow posters' opinions. Threads like these have self-selective samples - same goes with threads that poll people for a certain champion to get implemented.

EDIT2: Morello, I really appreciate the time you're taking to clarify all of this. <3

A couple of things.

First, the problem a lot of people have with Morello's "statistics" is that he refuses to let the community see them. Despite this, he demands that people in this thread provide statistics of their own, such as the person who brought up Pudge. This is severely hypocritical.

Second, as far as Phds and whether or not their wrong: by claiming that Riot is using methods crafted by people with Phds and thus they are correct, he is utilizing a logical fallacy known as "argument from authority" (I'm sorry if I sound pedantic.) Simply because someone is an authority in a field doesn't make their claims correct.
