Dear Riot,

Thank you very much for making and maintaing an awesome game. It is great to see it change and grow over time and the effort you all put into making this one of the best online game experiences ever. Your core mission of being the most player focused company in the world is an admirable one and one I believe you are achieving. But be careful about how much weight you give to the voices of some of the community.

There are a lot of fans, like myself who happily play the game and watch online streams and read the forums, without actually interacting much in the community. This can make it seem like at times that the amount of negative people posting on the forums is in the majority. This is not indicative of your overall player-base, not by a long shot.

As you can probably tell by the enormous following and continual sign ups to your game, that people are very happy and enjoy themselves so much, that they continually talk about the game when not playing and get other people to sign up. I would like to apologise for all the haters, but I'm sure you can tell that they are the over-vocalised minority. The majority are major fans of all the work you produce and understand that things are not always perfect, that sometimes, "good things take time".

Don't get me wrong, some of the criticisms are valid and, when properly voiced, are some of the best advice you can get. But please, don't listen to the haters and whiners with nothing else better to do. They are most likely spoiled children who do not understand the time and dedication it takes to produce something of this calibre.

If you are wondering why I decided to write this thread, it was written as an inverse to all the whiney threads out there, just to show you that in order to write something to Riot it doesn't have to be negative or critical. And that some of us who are quiet in the community aren't so because we're unhappy or afraid that we won't be heard but it's probably because that we are having too much fun playing a fantastic game.

So, Riot, THANK YOU very much for providing me and many of my friends with hours and hours of entertainment, all brought about by your love for creating something amazing.

See, downvote. So many haters.

It's really hard to sift through the QQ threads to find real quality threads like this one, especially today as of now. I think you're right. Riot has made mistakes, but I'm sure that if we give them enough time, they'll learn what to do and not to do, and they're doing a pretty good job starting out for a new gaming company, which starting a company is really hard to in this day and age, nonetheless a gaming company with the harsh industry that it has.

This community really is irritating sometimes. =/ But then there are a few gem threads like this amiss all the hater threads.

It really is a great game. I guess that every game has it's critics and haters, but if you don't like what they are doing, no need to get all ugly. Shame there's been so much hate on here recently.

I agree with most of what he said, but can you do something about the toxic players at low levels. I mean I know they were all banned and needed to make new accounts or something, but it's really hard to convince my friends to play when they get yelled at in their first game for being bad.

Yes. Of course, the 12 year old kiddies out there will label you a 'boot licker'. Honestly, idgaf at this point anymore. Kids can be kids.
