she dosen't have to mana to back that up when she needs it most, early game

im kinda fine with her not being a pure healer support, it makes them boring and lowers skill considerably to play

There's sustain.. and there's.. sustainable sustain. Alistar has the best spammable sustain in the game, no real contest, it doesn't matter if its the lowest or not, it doesn't cost anything and there is no downside to spamming it on every CD, in fact, its pretty much a good idea because it messes up CSing for the other team but it will push your lane.

I could go on, but, I don't think Sona should be picked for her heal, its too weak to be all that notable except in skirmishes, and it doesn't really outshine a shield especially since it can be completely negated by ignite.

She can't maintain it is the problem.

As true as that can be, it only takes in mind health values, and not side effects. Also, Soraka can harass and CC for no mana.

Sona gives you everything you want and more as a support, which is why I guess it's difficult to buff her. I guess she's kinda like irelia and xin in that sense

I think Sona is only bringing one thing to the table these days: AOE ult on another role. I also still think Soraka and Janna are too strong!

Sona likely needs something, but she's a tough character as she doesn't have any ability to make "pro plays" outside of her ult. It's something we'll discuss internally, I'd love to get the live time's updated analysis.

she may have them, but they are hardly effective when they need to be, i guess her Q is good for its early game, E is good for its lategame
but the rest goes down under and is quite uneffective, specially as your Q becomes useless lategame/midgame but to get the most out of it you have to max it earlygame, other supports don't have this
