Hello, guys! I am Aralt, I had heard about LoL a while ago but never tried it, I thought it was more like MMO PvP than RTS PvP. I did not know that it was a prefect blend of both. I downloading the game this afternoon and have been playing it since. I really love this game.
So far I have been using Ashe, I love ranged fighters and am looking at getting more.
I am looking for if available.
1. Ranged Tank
2. Ranged Support
3. Another Ranged DPS.
If you guys can point me to which Champions to use, you will have my thanks.

There aren't really any ranged tanks, as part of what's necessary in a tank isn't given to ranged champions for balance reasons.

There are quite a few ranged support champions (e.g., Soraka, Sona, Lulu, Janna), however I'd hold off on buying champs until you've tried them. If you must buy one, Soraka is only 450, so not much of an investment.

Tristana is free from facebook (see this site's home page and look at the bottom right), and I believe Sivir is 450.

Well, Urgot could be considered a ranged tank as he is typically built pretty tanky, but because of this, he does a lot less damage than the other ranged dps champions. There is also Ryze who is built tanky due to the way his damage is calculated but he is a mage.

Being _tanky_ doesn't make one a tank. Neither Urgot, Ryze, or any of the other potentially beefy mages (Swain/Morgana/Etc) can fill the role of the tank.

How would you define a "tank"? Someone who can initiate fights? Someone who can soak up damage? Someone who can protect their team? Well, Urgot and Ryze can do all those things. Maybe not especially well but they can do it. In my opinion, "tank" is not a role, but an item build, because you can build anyone as a tank.

As for champions, Panzerfaust gives some really great advice. While you're still new, check out the free to play champions. We rotate them on a regular basis so that people can try out different champs all the time and get a feel for what they really like to play. I guarantee you will find a champion you really like this way and will want to save IP for, and you will also learn about other champs and what they do, which is important for team comp and countering.

Alistar is a good tank, and he is free from the youtube subscription. If you don't have an account and don't want to make one, hes still only 450.

A tank needs to be able to peel (get people off of their squishies) and initiate. 'Tanky' or beefy dps is completely different than being a tank. When the enemy mage is nuking your carry, there's nothing Ryze can do about it. Urgot has his ult to lock people down, but it's a channel so not reliable, and other than that he can't do either.
