Those wondering why we are attached to the green hue -- it's because it intuitively connotates healing, spellvamp in this case. Ahri's new skin was a tough point of discussion -- we became faced with situations where we'd be changign things for the sake of change, while weaking the skin aesthetically and in readability.
Why not make it solid white when her passive is charged?

Leaving it white/green may make it easier to read, but you're fooling yourself if you think it's not more aesthetically pleasing with colours that actually match the skin.

Makes sense to me. The people QQing about it not matching the rest of her palette are probably the same people whose socks always match.

Matching socks are boring, imo.

It also intuitively connotates rat poison.
White is just as easily associated with healing as green is, being the color of light and miracles and what not. Hell, if an ability is ever used as healing and named after a color, it's more probable that that color is white than green.

I prefer the normal ball staying blue. But I feel like the green should definitely be changed.

Wouldn't keeping the orb blue make it match the Mozilla browser icon?

Isn't that the joke?

Can people not just be happy?

For poisons, we actually use a yellowish green. Healing greens saturate closer to white.
