I'm no programmer, so I have no idea how difficult this would or wouldn't be,
But why is it that Dominion and SR are not simply, balanced separately from each other. Certain Skills/ratios and items are either tuned up or toned down in dominion separately from summoners rift. Guild wars did this with their pvp, they didnt do it with every skill, only things that conceivably were overpowered, and it worked wonderfully.
I've read the reasoning of it putting too much of a strain on players learning the differences, but I can't see how realizing that "This skill is weaker in dominion" is very mind blowing.
It would save quite a bit of trouble attempting to balance 80 champions in two game modes by just trying to nerf items.
Maybe I'm simply, ignorant.I figure asking can't hurt.
