He is unplayable in his current state. Waaay too easy to dodge Arcane Barrage.

Herp Da Derp,
as if the huge-ass red marker line for his Q attack wasn't bad enough, but now I have a 2 second ult delay?

Xereth is going on my '' don't play him'' list until Riot fixes him.

Hey guys I want to bump this with a bit of new information:

If I wasn't clear in my first post, I'm not promising that we're changing the ult cast time. However, we are still aware that this nerfed Xerath and we don't intend to nerf Xerath.

Thus, we (probably, nothing is ever 100% certain) intend to buff him, but it may not be just a revert of the prior change.

Sorry, but I'm not following. If you didn't intend to nerf Xerath, why make such a change in the first place?
