regarding this thread

http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/....php?t=2357676

I am pretty sure my respond would be just burried in the hundreds of comments, but I have a little question for his case.

I checked all your comments, but I wonder if his negativity was triggered by another player first, or it was him starting the arguements.

if he is the one always started the troubles, then it is very fair for him to be ban
but if it was his teamate who started raging first, then I dont think he deserve to be ban. I have very much terrible lucks with the random queue, and in many instances my teamate would just start by cussing out like:"ur mom is a fking wh ore, suck my di ck....." when they cant get the lane they want. If he is in the same situation, then I dnt think a perma ban is fair.

I strongly believe retaliation is never OK.

Just ignore the player for the game and try your best to be sportsman-like to the rest of your team. If you retaliate, both you and the other player will be punished. The reason for this is simple: you retaliating and arguing with the other player actually makes the game a horrible experience for 3 to 8 other people.

I have friends that say some off the wall insane stuff, from just tons of profanity to crudely insulting other players and they haven't been banned so in my opinion if anyone gets banned they definitely deserve it, especially after being banned 4 times.

i have another question, is there a way to see how many times i've been reported and the reasosn BEFORE i get banned?

Retaliation is never Ok, i agree, but sometimes its the only way to get that out of you...

Then it's time, my friend, that you learn a new way.

Scream into a pillow, punch the pillow, go for a run, play a shooting game, get a heavy bag, meditate... There are 101 ways to cool off, stating that being a jerk is the only way (even if provoked), is rather untrue.

Most of those might only work well after the game, but you can ignore the player when it feels they might get you to that point, and a pillow beside your computer can't hurt.

So when I am feeling negatively pressured by my team no matter what the context even if I have a reasonable argument, I should ignore them, not state my reason why, and then eat reports for refusing to communicate?

Not specific to all cases, but there are plenty of situations where you end up as a solo with a team of four and are singled out as a result.

You won't be banned for 'refusing to communicate' with toxic players. Not sure why players have this misconception.

If you get reported for refusal to communicate, and it somehow happens enough to get you to the tribunal, AND then we all see that you're saddled with a pack of trolls, you're getting a pardon.

In fact, the only way in this equation that I could see you getting into trouble is by giving in and retaliating, which just opens you up to reports for verbal harassment etc. Honestly, doing the right thing is the best way to not get into trouble.

Is this a joke? Its ****ing written in your rules that people who retalliate should be PARDONED.

4. When should I be voting to Pardon?

Here are some examples of times where reported players should be pardoned.
  • Players who are celebrating, but not intending to be offensive.
  • Players who are playfully quipping at one another.
  • Someone who is reacting to another player’s repeated badgering or insulting behavior.
  • Players who are not responding to other players or do not speak the language, but otherwise aren’t displaying any negative or strange behavior.
  • Players who display poor performance, but do not appear to be intentionally feeding or otherwise disrupting gameplay.
  • Players who cease their negative behaviors and/or apologize when another player informs them that they have taken things too far and asks them to stop.

I honestly cant beleive what im reading right now...
