Is urgot now trash tier? (nerf bat swings HARD)

The nerfs were way over the top. He had one thing going for him and that was as being an AD caster with great harass and poke. They already nerfed his shield which scales off AP anyway, so he's not all that tanky unless you built him that way. Now he's garbage with no niche to fill. His ult is so short range until it's third rank that you pretty much have to be humping your targets leg to use it. His auto attack range is still incredibly short, which means he'll never be able to fill the role of AD carry. He wasn't meant to be an AD carry so they shouldn't balance him like one.

Yeah, sorry about this one guys. This was 100% my fault.

We intend for Urgot to be a tanky mid-range anti-carry. The long range / harass nerfs work to do that while the Q damage nerf actually does the opposite (forces him to build squishy).

Overall we did intend to nerf Urgot and at the same time address playing against frustrations as much as possible. What was not intended was to completely change his playstyle and remove his unique team role / purpose.

Next patch we will be reverting the damage changes to Urgot's Q.

Appreciated, but regardless, the range reduction on his Q and E will make him less able to launch multiple acid hunters. The change to his Q damage was probably the most minor nerf.

At least we know it was an accident. Still, I don't think we should have to wait two weeks for this to be fixed.

Do you think Urgot will still be viable after the cascade of nerfs he's received? Because you guys kicked him in his robotic, necrosis-ridden balls. Over and over again.

I can live with this. All of those nerfs made me cringe.
