If you would be so kind to answer these two questions. Every single person buying or interested in the new Cassiopeia skin wants to know.

Why did you not give her live snake hair as that is clearly what most people associate the legend with, even if I didn't have live snake hair. That would have made the skin better no question or is it something on the radar that will show up in another skin. Or would that look to much like a monster (you guys dont like that apparently).

What exactly is different about the Mythic Cass particles compared to her other skins.

please bump if you agree

monsters are totally okay. in fact, there are a lot of people on the team that really like monsters! one of the goals of the mythic skin was to make a skin that hit the 'beautiful lady' mark over the monstrous one--something her other skins don't quite hit even though 'gorgon-inspired cursed snake lady that used to be an elegant temptress' kind of implies she could lean heavily toward the attractive side of the spectrum. snake hair is something i think would be cool, but i think it would be more appropriate for an over-the-top powerful cassi theme which could dip deep into monster territory. that's kind of getting more into my personal thoughts though--we haven't started planning the next cassi skin yet so it's still very open to discussion.

the shorter version: although snake hair didn't directly conflict with the existing goals of the skin, we might have had to make compromises to make them work together--snake hair is best when not compromised, so we decided against it for this skin.

the only particle effect that is unique to mythic cassi is the projection of her face when she uses petrifying gaze.

It's a nice skin, but I'm sure you can understand why some are disappointed by it. When viewing it in a 3D model viewer, you can see that the ornaments on her hips fold into the mesh on her tail when moving (not sure of the technical terms for that kind of interaction, but you can also see this in-game when moving in a downwards fashion), and the skirted portion of her dress stretches oddly in animations.

Just as well, it just didn't receive the attention to detail and love that skins like Tyrant Swain or Blackthorn Morgana received. I feel like the Swain skin is the best comparison, because it was specifically intended to be an awesome skin because it was his first new skin since release. As a Cassiopeia player, I ask myself, "Why didn't Cassiopeia's first new skin since release get the same level of quality as that shiny new skin over there?" And the only answer that I can come up with is because it's a skin that's free to an entire region.

I still bought it and am enjoying it (I particularly like the coloring on her tail), but I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't disappointed by the quality of it in comparison to other recent skins.

EDIT: I don't think her hair moves either.

Okay thankyou very much for this reply. Although sad to hear the next one isn't planned, myself and others im sure hope the snake hair is on the radar.

Her cloths do look quite close to her skin color, just saying. Thats been feeling a little off putting.

Now that we have the Pretty skin Rick, you know what to do.

I'm not interested in know that... In fact I prefer her to not have snake hair. I wanted a skin that looked decent. If I wanted monsterish I would have gone default or Siren >_>

Sounds pretty logical to me. Though every time I play Cass I can't resist the Siren skin, theres just something about it that pulls you in....

One thing i think would be really cool if they ever do a Cassie skin with snake hair would be to have them sit and act like normal hair, until she uses her ultimate when they flair out to face forward.

Riot pls.
