Your right less people prefer supports but...Since with this meta that you guys seem to endorse someone is forced to play support in every game so even though less people prefer it there is still one in almost every game just like Junglers, Tops, Mids and AD carries. Also the way alot of people talk the reason they dont prefer supports is because there are so few supports to actually pick from. For instance if you wanted to play top lane you probably have an upwards of 50 champions to pick from that are all "viable" top lanes(When I say viable I mean more at the average skill level, I do not play in tournys and am not really sure what the pros consider "Viable"). But if you look at the support role you have like 8-10?
It just seems like you guys really neglect the support role, I have heard lots of Rioters(Maybe even you Morello I cant remember) say that they discourage passive play so I can understand not releasing more Sorokas that are pretty much built for passive play but more Blitzcranks or Leonas that actually encourage aggressive play seem like a good Idea, I dont mean carbon copies of Blitz and Leona obviously I just mean that type of support. It seems like if your forced to play the 0 CS support role in the current Meta you should at least be able to have some variety in who you play.
