DONT GET ME WRONG HERE! I dont want LoL to become as deep and challenging as DotA, but I think they really overdid it with their "We want every 5 year old with ADHD to play this game" politics...

So now all AoE spells show you exactly the area you have to leave for not getting hit... sweet, whats next, a timer how much time you have to escape? A glowing arrow that shows the safest route out?

Meanwhile in DotA: Enemys cant even see your AoE-spell area until it hits...

And this new tower stuff... "HEY, DUDE; TOWER HITS YOU, MOVE!"... Seriously, its like RIOT think their community is not able to notice tower shooting by themselves.

Next step is Minions that can be killed by one autohit glow?

Seriously, I was always pro LoL, but the game turns more and more in a children's playground, where the game takes all the thinking stuff from the player so they dont get a booboo in their head from using their brain too much.

EDIT: With "pro LoL" I dont want to say "Hey, I am a pro gamer" It means "I always was on LOLs side when people start to complain". You know? Pro/contra?

I don't understand how you can be negative about the tower thing. When a teamfight happens, its hard as hell sometimes to tell if you're getting hit by the enemy or their tower.

edit: called yourself a "pro LoL". Nothing you say matters to me anymore.
edit: I'm stupid

Pro LoL. Those 21 wins, man. I was pro at level 9; I build Bloodthirsters on Vladimir because I figured he was a hemomancer and it worked that way. I must respectfully disagree with your argument, as it is quite invalidated.

Agree with the skillshot thing, especially with Cho'Gath. It's not like he wasn't hurting enough already lol.

And the towers, I disagree, I think it helps just fine with situational awareness during teamfights or dives.

Er.. Most AoEs have always had clearly defined circles. Except for, like, Cho'Gath's rupture, but I like playing Cho and didn't think there was anything wrong with that change, because I actually make an effort to lead them / cast it right under them instead of just hail-mary casting it and praying the fact that it was harder to notice than some AoEs that it would hit them.

uhm. guys. i think he means "pro LoL" like pro and anti-, not pro as in professional.

that said, Riot has mentioned a few times that they wanted to make this game accessible to everyone. one of the things that turned me off from Dota was that you hit a learning wall. more than likely you will feed at least 10 games, before figuring out what exactly is happening. nobody likes that.

Wtf, this post is just stupid.

If theres a lot going on, theres no way you would notice some spells, and thats why the indicators are there, to help your puny human eyes, and they are totally fine. And the new tower mechanic is just needed, you never know when its going to switch on you.

Especially dota could need that aswell, their tower mechanic is beyond stupid and the attacks it does are just really badly implemented with a silly travel speed and lock on mechanic.

Also , Indicators make it harder for the enemy to hit with his spell. It is a lot easier to hit something with nobody seeing an animation obviously, so its easier in Dota.

honestly, i don't see the problem in a easy to pick up, hard to master game. why make it difficult to get INTO playing the game? if you're concerned about the aoe showing, how about positioning the aoe to hit regardless of whether they see it or not? that takes skill too.

Its easy as hell...
The Tower attack the closest target until it is dead or out of range
