What's your opinion on the Mistborn series, or anything by Brandon Sanderson if you've read his work? I highly recommend him; his worldbuilding and magic systems especially are amazing.

Hi Kades, do you know what the best route is to get a reply regarding Australian Servers/Players?

Tryndamere posted awhile back (after us being put in the dark for over 3+ years now) about our thoughts and I have no idea how to get a proper response.

I've made a thread on reddit which got over 200 comments, I messaged player support and they said there is no way they can contact the higher ups so I'm really lost here.

The only thing I can think of is to continuously make a thread regarding the problem and just literally spam/bump the hell out of it until someone replies to it. But seeing as this problem is as old as League itself, I think this is very counter-productive.

Thanks!

R. Martin's books are decent, but suffer from something I call "character A.D.D.," and I couldn't get into the Night Angel books. I think The Kingkiller Chronicles, by Patrick Rothfuss, though they are not yet finished, are the absolute cream of the crop.

Go.

I've read all of those but the Dresden Files and The Black Company Books; our tastes seem similar.

I would take a look at "The Lies of Lock Lamora" by Scott Lynch. It's part of an unfinished series, but each is a stand alone book. If you like it (or don't) let me know...!

With that said, I'm just as interested in hearing what everyone else is reading (within reason, it might make sense to move this talk to Off-Topic if that becomes the dominant discussion). I'm not trying to approach this from 'atop a pedestal' if that makes any sense..? I suggest something, somebody else does, then somebody else- I mean, it's a discussion. I've recommended tLoLL, but there are lots of great suggestions in the thread. That's just my opinion...!

I've really enjoyed the Vlad Taltos series from Steven Brust. Unfortunately not finished yet, I'm hoping he'll actually get around to that someday -- but there's still a lot of books in it already.

Have you read the riftwar cycle/kingkiller chronicles? They're good too. (kingkiller being probably one of the top 3 series although uncompleted..)
I might buy them all after the series is finally completed- just out of some misguided loyalty to my childhood. But I'm done reading them as soon as they come out.

I read Riftwar Cycle years ago- I like Feist. And I also really like Rothfuss.

Sure- let me know. I'm always looking for people to carry me! Though, I don't have the time to play as much as I'd like to.

It's surreal. I tell you, the craziest was probably my first day. I was walking around the office for the first time; I just had this stupid grin plastered to my face. I was seeing so much of the pipeline of things to come all at once. It was crazy.

After that initial jump in the pipeline, the changes have become more iterative. Champions grow and change and evolve daily- which is good- being open to change when you're designing is good. It's very satisfying. And it's (hopefully) satisfying when it's finished and we get to see what you guys think.
