Since the League of Legends is a political tool to replace war, what kind of issues need to merit the League's attention? Obviously things like control of land and resources are an issue, but what if, say, a Noxian general kidnapped the daughter of a Demacian count and through the wonders of Stockholm Syndrome, got the daughter to consent to marriage (or forced a marriage or something).

That'd probably piss a lot of people off, so does that mean that champions start brawling in Summoner's Rift to see whether or not said daughter gets married?

I would imagine with how frequent the fights are, i'd imagine they fight fight about everything

from what car to buy, from what food to eat, to who is stupid, to who's momma is the fattest.

There are fights that go on between summoners all the time. These fights are for influence, power, money - whatever the summoners at the Institute of War decide on. The ways of the summoner are mysterious, indeed.

The big fights - the ones between the city-states - are far less common. Most of these are regionally localized, meaning that it's usually a territorial or resource dispute that is arbitrated on for convenience sake. There are some, however, that arguably will shape the course of future Runeterran history. Those are the ones to keep an eye out for.

So, is that what the tourney's are... o_o cause if not, I'd like to see a special thingie-magigger where all the Demacian Champs are up for free for one side and all the Noxian Champs for the other team. Or whatever Nation suits Riots fancy at that moment. o_o

I can imagine Malphite being pulled from his world and being told by the summoners that he will be fighting for the very balance of this world:

Summoner1: We are in dire need of your power
Summoner2: Help us Malphite you are our only hope.
Malphite: Rock on! Justice shall ring across the land!
Summoner1: Excellent, your first match is about to begin.
