^ Yeah, elaborate! I didn't know it was a spinoff of another show o_O

I've been watching it on netflix - the first few seasons were pretty fun, tho I wish they had stayed more 'monster of the week' than angels and demons and ****. ):

Never said it was a spin off. What it is, is a hybrid Buffy + Charmed + Smallvile mishap. All three were WB/CW shows and i think came before supernatural.

I tried and couldn't make it through the first season

I have a couple questions:

Do you have a brother(s)?
Do you enjoy classic rock?

In the first 5 seasons I found that they really nailed the brothers aspect of the show, which was something that drew me in. (and every other guy I know that watches the show.)

I love classic rock, (as with most other guys I know that watch the show.)

To me those two aspects of the show are something that I find to make the show really unique from others.

I can however see how some people may not be interested in the show.

The first season is the worst.
Try the second season, if you can't make it through that then there's no hope for liking it.

I tried the first season, got two or three episodes deep and bailed. Watched it again just for giggles and was impressed.
