He's one of the few people keeping me interested in Fantasy(along with Guy Gavriel Kay). The twist in Last Argument of Kings completely blew my mind in a way I had not experienced since the first time I saw the Sixth Sense. It caught me completely off guard, and that never happens. Dude is amazing.
Logen Ninefingers is one of the most fascinating characters I've come across in modern fantasy. Glokta might make that list, too, but Logen is the first barbarian I've come across in fantasy that really hooked me. He's aspirational while I'm still wary of him. Amazing character.

Heh; you already know I'm not going to give you spoilers...
Alright, screw it! I'll tell you this: "He/She/It is ...from the void!
" Tell your friends! You heard it hear first!
In all seriousness, though- we definitely have noticed a void in that area.
See what I did there...? "Void".
I kill me.

Honestly, that's no where near my area of expertise. I'd say to always apply earlier rather than later, but that's more 'life advice' rather than Riot specific. Good luck, though!

Luck. Teamwork. I'm not the best mechanical player anymore- I'm getting old since I've hit my 30's- but I occasionally have a decent 'spider sense' when I look at the map and know when I should avoid ganks and whatnot. I trust my gut with stuff like that. I try to be pretty polite to my teammates and that helps more than a little. I also play a fairly decent Mid-Raka. If you include my normal and ranked and Beta games... I probably have over 2k Soraka games played. Which is a lot considering for most of that time, she was considered underpowered (though we've only nerfed her since then) and I'd be trolled just for picking her.
I also rarely give up. I see people give up and try and surrender all the time- when we're losing the worst, that's when I see the rarest of opportunities to be truly epic. When I hear people around me whine and QQ, I tend to enter this sort of 'man-mode' where I ignore their counterproductive emo stuff and just play tighter and cleaner. I think I probably play my best when my back is against the wall.
But truthfully, my 'best' isn't really even that good.
Luck and teamwork.
