forums everywhere are bashing Frost and other asian teams. disrespecting WE posting stuff like "CLG should have won" "just give the victory to CLG", disregarding WE performance game 2 b4 remake etc...

maybe its just the bad apples that are the loudest in forums. but it is really saddening.

They're being disrespected because a lot of people think they cheated. Nobody is saying anything bad about TPA, or najin.

How shocking and xenophobic that a player base should dare desire that the teams from their region would win!

They are teams that NA/EU viewers might not have even known existed and at least 2 of which only recently formed within the last 6 months.

Basically it would be like watching a professional sports team be defeated by some guys who just show up one day wearing matching jerseys, having no knowledge of their challengers strengths and weaknesses while all those of the team you are backing have been out in the open in all their previous games for anyone to witness. Couple that with the most recent Riot scandal involving not so mini mini-maps, and you have a recipe for some discontent.

People say CLG should have won, not because WE was Asian, but because when the game got DC'd, it was basically over. Nothing to do with race.

I've never seen any specifically anti-Asian sentiments. Some stereotyping jokes about Asians, especially Koreans, for how good they are at the game, and for their training and stuff, but nothing outright anti-Asian.
