1k ping means you have connection issues, if we were to get a server in Australia you might get 200 less ping at best, it won't however magically fix your connection issues.
I suggest you contact your ISP, or get your parents to contact them whatever the case may be.
Not to say we shouldn't get a server I would kill for even 100 less ping.

Sure it is, Australia has the #1 worst options for internet in the basic Asia-Pacific area.
We have the worst routing to Singapore'an countries, making Garena a good slate or a terrible disaster.
Nothing we can do until the NBN kicks in around regional Victoria, and other major parts of the country. (Best I know, is that Sydney is the only one with the NBN at this moment)
We have a good capita per person, making funding not a total issue.
ISP won't do anything, until they release the governments knowledge on this topic. Which again, the government are so uptight nothing will happen as of yet. (Further anyway)
