The icon thing isn't that big of a issue compared to the ward skin temp idea.

Well, that is a relief for those who spent RP a bit earlier.

I, for one, know I won't be getting any of these icons. Eager for the lifetime RP spent icons. :P

But... why are icons being given for RP purchases in the first place? Or actually, why did it take so long to get new icons only for them to be limited in such a way? They should be extremely easy to create/add, why couldn't we instead get free icons that are unlocked in other ways.

e.g. pentakill icon requires 1 pentakill to unlock.

How about that inactive summoner name wipe + name change sale? Would be the perfect reason for a whole lot of people to be buying RP during this event.
