Mordekaiser and Hecarim being my favorite two champs lore-wise I rushed here to post it.

Any speculation on what this means?

Morde and Hecarim possibly fight over control over the Shadow Isles?

Well, when Hecarim, the Shadow of War, came to Valoran, he charged across the countryside to the Institute of War, scaring people and trampling hapless Demacians.

Mordekaiser came to Valoran a long time before Hecarim did. His new lore implies that he was one of the first Shadow Is-landers, yet he doesn't seem to have done very much during his time in the League. (Pentakill was canon at one point, but I get the feeling Creative wants to be more serious about Mordekaiser now) Hecarim and Mordekaiser's agendas are probably different, and the Shadow Isles might know more about Mordekaiser than we do.

Hmmm, interesting. Is it a Summoner trying to manipulate Hecarim against Mordekaiser? Is it a spectral force in allegiance with Hecarim that knows something about Mordekaiser? Fields of Justice are strictly controlled by the League, it's hard to think power plays would be made so overtly...

Has anyone tested to see if this only happens when Hecarim captures the alter? I'm kind of curious if there is an unique line for each of the shadow isles champions.

Only Hecarim brings about this specific reaction. I've also just heard that the other alter has a chance to say ,"Don't trust Elise, Hecarim!"

It is probably two gods of shadow isle waring against each other. The spider, and another being that isn't told yet.

Some interesting things in here, though I wonder why there are no interactions with Eve.

Wow..those are cool interactions and I'm guessing no interactions with Evelynn is because she's rumored to come from the Shadow Isles, we still do not know whether she only has a mild case of fantasical vampirism or if she actually originate from the Shadow Isles.
