Our newer champions have special run animations when they are given a haste effect like blood boil, ghost, or Youmuu's. Diana has this as well, but I think Zed's is more noticeable.

You may want to look into that.
I tried to reproduce it with Yomumu's, and it didn't do it.

I figured it was nunu only. It makes his claws glow and he runs like a badass.

You gotta go at a certain move speed to get the new animation, getting a sprint boot will easily get you that number. I personally don't like Zed "Sprint" animation since it look kinda silly to me (and that its similar to the ninja from Naruto).

I just logged in to say thanks, this is neat!

As a long-time fan of Sivir, universal run animations on older champions can certainly be... special. I know her revamp will be amazing when it gets to the front of the art queue though! <3

So basically, to sum up what I've learned so far from this forum without actually playing Zed:

- Additional awesome run animation from speed boosts, including the boost from Ghostblade, which is an item I always get on assassins and tanky melee DPS alike
- Reportedly awesome auto attack animations
- Awesome recall/respawn animation
- He's a freakin' ninja

I'm starting to get paranoid about his release price...
The champ sounds too good to be true in terms of aesthetics.
What are the chances he'll cost more than 975 RP and I won't be able to afford him...?
