I think if you swapped the Cooldowns on their ults, everything would be right with the world.

Garen- Shorter CDR but always is gonna be on CD
Darius- Longer CD but you can refresh it.

I forgot darius has a huge AoE DPS and a large movespeed buff and high sustain and has a built in cleanse.

Kat gets revamped
Community: "WTF she's terrible now LOLNEWEVETIER"
Scarra/Tien and a few others use her for shets
Community: "Well she was obviously OP from the start doing that much damage with resetting, even an idiot could see that"

Just wait for someone to actually pick up Garen and the QQ to begin anew.

Garen is pretty dope now, he beats a good deal of top laners as is and with itemization he'll be a force lategame too. Even now he's one of the best diving bruisers in the game. Even if he gets focused he's still VERY bulky making it a bad idea, and his damage is both high and he rolls a pretty wicked execute.

e.g you soft cc him and he just boosts out of your slow.
you hard cc him but he has cc reduction and you just wasted your hard cc on a pseudo tank
you don't cc him and he unloads over 4.0ad scaling on your ad/ap carry and finishes with a wicked execute.



He's actually not that bad, he just has problems with the usual scumbag tops like nid, yorick, teemo, and kayle. Put him against champs like voli, irelia, darius, etc. and he gets a pretty easy lane win.

You know, for all the people who compare Garen to Darius, it is obvious that you don't look at the numbers, if you take noticed, every single one of Garen's base stats except armor are better then Darius except armor, but because of Garen's passive W, he gets more armor. Garen's moves all outscale Darius, his spin does more damage end game, his Q does more damage then his W, and in theory, Garen's ultimate does more damage then Darius until he has two stacks of his passive.

I personally think Garen is strong.

There needs to be tweaks on his ult though. It's very strong level 6 but that's it, it's completely underwhelming throughout the rest of the game.
