Also, if Riot makes this there just has to be a hidden passive with Katarina. It could just be the two of them saying witty one-liners.

Or have Kat hit on him. I see her as being the more 'aggressive' one in the relationship since he's the good guy and she's the bad girl.

You could also go the other way, and completely under-sexualize the girls. Why not Sick-Day Kat? Hair all frizzy, baggy t-shirt and pants. But not in a way that its completely unattractive- as in, make it humorous instead of visually appealing. So in a way, we could make Unprepared female characters... just not fresh from the shower xD
