It'll have +30 attack damage, +40% attack speed, do almost double the damage per tick of the Blackfire, scale with attackspeed, have inf charges and be 200g cheaper!

I wonder what riot will call this clearly overpowered item made from a Pickaxe and Recurve Bow.........

Blackfire is fine. You are just not used to casters having damage options. If you want something with the same "stats" as blackfire, Ghostblade is still there, same place it has always been

It'll also have CDR, right?

It'll do physical damage, so it'll benefit from all of the ArPen you're already building, and also add extra ArPen on its own, right?

BFT passive is fine, what is not fine is mag pen, high AP and CDR altogether, and for below 3k gold

It's a shame Riot removed Ghostblade from dominion in that alternate reality we play in.

That's not the item you brought up, is it?

Ghostblade doesn't have the BFT passive, and if we compare both Youmou and Kitae's, I sure hope it's stronger than BFT, considering the gold involved and it taking up two slots.

Erm, no. Because we're talking about BFT, not comparing full builds here.

Also, wit's end doesn't benefit from my ArPen, BFT is internally synergistic in all of its stats, aside from the HP. The AP works with what you assume is a usual AP kit, which benefits from the MrPen, blah blah.

This is a flimsy argument Chronicle.

Assume most champ have 3k hp (because bruisers have over 3k, mage haver at least 2.8k and tanks can go upto 3.8k)

BFT + Hextech sweeper
20 Mag Pen
25% CDR
120 AP
550 Health
10% MS
Passive: 50 damage per second
Passive: stealth dectection


Ghostblade + Wits end
40 AS
30 MR
30 Attack damage
15% Crit chance
15% CDR
20 arm pen
Passive: 42 damage per second, with extra Mr buff
Passive: 20% MS 50% AS for 4-8sec (60sec cooldown)


I guess we have somewhat a clear winner???

You're the one who wanted to compare a pair of items, I just merely granted your request.
Ghostblade is internally synergistic in all of its stats. AD works with what you assume is a usual AD kit, which benefits from the Arpen, blah, blah.

The argument is flimsy because its yours, not mine.
