What's with the three different threads about this, by different OPs, all appearing in the last day?

And to answer the OPs question, the Summoner's Code speaks in generalities, not specifics.

The relevant sections are IV (Enjoy yourself, but not at anyone else's expense) and IX (Lead by example).

The Tribunal community has the job of interpreting the Summoner's Code, and has decided that emote-spam violates it. I agree. Clever reductio ad absurdum arguments about other activities (mostly part of regular gameplay) only make sense if the Tribunal starts banning for those activities. It won't.

In it's current state it bans for being a human who plays the game.

Everyone who plays the game is human and playing the game.

99% of people are never even warned by the Tribunal.

There is something else that the banned people are doing that the rest of us aren't. Can you guess what it is? Here's a hint: It's breaking the Summoner's Code.

Because they never reached the Tribunal in the first place ;-) If you don't have a case you can't get warned.

TSM is notorious for doing such things, trolling and trash talking other teams. Lead by example goes really far, and they are Riot's favorite and biggest supported team. Truly, the summoner's code is bull****, because I guarantee even their own dev's and employees habitually break them, if they actually even play this game.
