So he was in the tribunal 9 times, got punished 8 and his main account didn't get a permaban?
Yea, totally the same as with casual players.

I'm more interested in why he got such special treatment and was allowed to be so toxic for so long.

Its simple when you think of it.. It couldn't be silent because of how big he is. Its best for riot to dust the bad air out rather then it become a giant rumor mill.

Apparently he doesn't get it, because you guys are full of ****. This whole thing is a public show of a player being targeted as a scapegoat.

He was permabanned. Yet, in one year, his permanent ban will be lifted.... He can create a different account, like others who get permabanned, but yet, Riot has the opportunity to ban him from competitive League of Legends for his actions within the community, and somehow manages to drop the ball. It's not hard. Perma-ban. Permanent. As in, forever. Not, forever until 365 days later when it is no longer permanent.

Ban him for life. That will send a very resounding and very CLEAR message to the other pro's. Don't do it. Trolling is NOT an option.

How is this a permaban if you are only banning him for a year? Not to be picky but a year's suspension is not a permaban.

It's wrong to ask for special treatment for a pro-player.

It's especially wrong to ask for it when the team in question is barely functional, in a pro scene that is astonishing competitive and vibrant at the moment.

The account IWillDominate is gone for good, and he is unable to participate in the tournaments for a year. So if he can make yet another account.. manage his way back to 30 without getting banned yet again, and finally become a decent person in the community... maybe he'll get a 2nd chance to become a pro player again. Or more likely.. he rages at some one new to the game, gets reported.. gets banned again.. and finally gives up on playing LoL.

For the same reason a lot of other people have played the game for a long time and are only now catching bans.

Riot is making a show of 'cracking down tm' and he's just another victim. They let the community grow exactly the way it is, and now they are punishing people who believed fully their behavior was tolerable. Maybe not polite and proper, but not inexcusable in a game managed by Riot.

Probably should have let him know they weren't entirely full of bull anymore. Had they done that though, no scapegoat.

So he will be allowed to play the game again after one year?
