Again, maybe the whole skin doesn't really fit Kat - which is fine. If that's the case, make another Kat skin, clean up Christmas MF (particularly the splash art - augh), and give her the pole animation instead.
Otherwise, if you're planning on keeping the Kat skin as-is, to say the pole is out of character is very very bizarre.

Whether the skin fits Kat or her personality itself, the skin itself is pretty sexual.
So if they're going to keep the skin itself at all, then regardless of whether it fits Katarina's attitude itself, saying the pole doesn't fit the overall sexy theme seems...wrong.
Take a look at Surprise Party Fiddlesticks. That guy is the last guy you'd expect to be head of a party. But that's the theme of the skin, so even though confetti and horn honks and party hats are very un-Fiddle, they made their ways into the skin because they fit the actual theme.
It's not about the character, it's about the theme.
Her skin is sexy. Not sure why pole doesn't fit.
tbh, I like skins that put new twists on characters anyway. So Katarina isn't normally outwardly sexy, so what? Let's have fun with her. I don't think Riven is very outwardly sexual, probably even less than Katarina. But we had fun with her and put her in a playboy bunny suit, and it was k.
