Its entertainment, not a job. A mechanic performs a service, and better service calls for more money. No matter how good you are at this game, it will never be a service to the community. Just like sports and recreation.

It is a job, whether or not it is a service to the community (although how you can say that entertainment isn't a service to the community boggles me).
This is generating a lot of PR for Riot. He's a large name in several games and he is giving them free PR.
