Why isn't Darius's ult channeled or have a range limit?

Alot of champions have this mechanic in place though. Fixing it for Darius opens that up for any champion that uses this.

Except that they did this for Skarner...

If you casted Skarner's ult on a target, and they flashed after you casted it, you would still be caught. Now, that is not the case. I see no reason why they shouldn't do that for Darius' ult.

because skarner's ult is a displacement

darius's is just damage, there's a HUGE difference in the mechanics which is why doing it for darius's makes no sense

I don't know, if I flash past a ****-ton of trees, and his axe hits the ground and executes me, that doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Honestly, there needs to be two tweeks to darius.

1: Like everyone here is saying, be able to escape his stupid ult, it sucks how every time i flash away, he just nicks me and gets the kill.

2. His ult should not ADD another stack of Hemorrhage, that is so ludicrous!! IT should instead consume them so that way if he does not kill you with his ult... WELL TOO BAD. Instead what happens is, he ults and u run away but it doesn't matter, 5 stacks of hemorrhage and an ignite will surely finish whatever health you had left.

These are the only problems i have with Darius, everything else is fine.
