Yeah.... i know the feeling, even though i live 1 hour from montreal, and my connection is rather stable at ~105 ping, i still live about 6 hours away from Toronto x_x...

In small gaming shops in Newfoundland there are LoL tournaments with 1k cash prizes.

What about making a Canada chat channel for those of us who want to participate or watch some National esports? That way Riot can get an idea of how popular the idea would be, which will help sell it to sponsors, which will help get funding for prizes!
