that doesn't change my statement of "they gutted gold gain on Q". good to know I have to completely gimp my masteries and items just so that I can make up for the gold cost on Q.

Never have I said it changes your statement. Just offered you a cool trick and a way to make up for it.

No need to be cynical about it. And I don't think you need a lot of defensive stats when all you'll be doing in lane is Qing stuff. :P

You don't seem to understand however that top lane is a bully lane, you push your opponent out of lane to win it. Just farming like that doesn't serve any real goal other than your team will have a farmed GP and their team will have a farmed X champion.

You'll be more farmed than them though. Which you can turn into an advantage.

Yes but GP is a shell of his former self, even if you are more farmed most likely the other top will outshine you.

Parrrley should proc it, it procs Hydra which is a melee only item.
