Same problem, repairing the client does nothing. (Someone suggested that in another thread).

For what it's worth, when a friend and I were playing a custom, we kept attempting to chat in the text box in spite of the glitch, and after I had sent a message, the game had crashed for both of us.

He says that at the time, he was not attempting to send any messages. However, this is probably an isolated issue as I had difficulty getting into the game at the start, heh.

Definitely broken chat. I just did an hour long game that was 4v5, my team 4 the enemies 5. We could never push the nexus even with 3 inhibs down because they were spawn camping and every time we would push for the Nexus they would win the team fight. We couldn't communicate a strategy cause no one could speak. Just numerous pings all game. It's severely handicapping and I hope it's fixed asap.

this actually isn't so bad. no more QQ, no more insults, no more spam.

This game all about communication and team fight. Please fix it asap so I can experience more about new ranking system.

Seems to be the effect of the equalize thingy, in the beginning the chat wanted to start some vote by itself and when I tried to type it said I had already voted and everything I wrote came out as jibberish.

It may be linked to the new /equalize command, I'm not sure. I know the first thing I saw in chat box was that someone tried to use the /equalize command, and chat wasn't working.

For me, most of the time, nothing comes up when I try to chat. Only about 1/10 posts will the garbled boxes show up.

Report chat for refusing to communicate. Oh, it's this thread. Yes it makes very difficult to play.
