Want to spread a little holiday cheer? Want to play a little League of Legends? We thought so! To get everyone into the Snowdown Spirit we decided to offer everyone a chance to win awesome prizes.
Once the Snowdown event begins, send us your most festive Snowdown Showdown screenshot, and you could win some fabulous holiday themed in-game content (or a healthy sum of Riot Points, if you’re a big humbug!) for your trouble. This could be your chance to get a hold of the Holiday Tristana and Zilean skins free of charge!
How to enter? Take screenshots of your games in action, keeping an eye out for one of those special moments that remind us what the holidays are all about. You know the ones we’re talking about! Those times when you’ve just scored an ace while dressed as Santa Claus, and you’re having a glass of eggnog to accompany your plate of warm oatmeal cookies and you’re listening to William Shatner’s rendition of Holly Jolly Christmas. If you think that your screenshot properly captures the deep, emotional response evoked by times such as these, we want you to share it with us.
Here’s how the contest works: you attach your most epic of screenshot to an email and sent it off to community@riotgames.com. In this email be sure to include your account name, summoner name, and prize preference (the skins or the Riot Points). We reserve the right to publish anything we receive, so don’t send anything that you don’t want becoming visible to the public! Only one screenshot per account will be considered. No funny business! Then we get together as a company following the holiday break, have many a glass of (totally nonalcoholic) eggnog, and decide which screenshot makes us want to rewind time the most. In addition to their lovely holiday gift, this lucky person will have their screenshot featured up on the community site to help spread the Snowdown Spirit to all citizens of Runeterra.
