as a melee non carry dps (sion in this case) does anyone have any advice for coming back after a mistake or bad luck kills you near the start against a good team? your lane is a little fed, you are a little under leveled and if you play with randoms you are being called a feeder while someone calls "gg". normaly i would jungle in this case but half the time i get ganked because im an easy kill. i could stick to team fighting but i get focused because im an under leveled stunner. a recent plan i came up with is to stick to a person you can sort of combo with, in my case someone who can take advantage of my stun. the problem is a lot of the time these people have a "go through walls" type movement ability and i get cut off from them and then ganked as i travel around through the jungle or if i decide to stay in brush. i do use summoner spell flash so i technicly can move through those walls too but generaly i feel it would be a waste of a flash CD to use one of those little 4-6 second shortcuts.

anyways back to my original question, any advice for comebacks against a good team?

Try to farm off a turret as much as possible. If the game has gotten to a point where tower hugging is no longer an option, try to control map objectives such as Baron/Dragon better than the other team. This means wards in key locations and forcing good team fights to happen. 30 minutes in and you see an enemy champion in bottom lane farming? Force a 4v5 baron fight.

Hopefully this is helpful to you.

Learning to last hit under a tower helps.
Usually, for melee minion, let them take two tower shots, then attack them.
For caster minions, hit them once, let the tower hit them, then finish them off.

Try to farm as much as you can, remember that 10-15 minion kills is the same as a champion kill.
Most of all, don't give up. Many characters have a weak early game, but become unstoppable late game.

Do your best to last hit and farm when you can, and avoid traveling alone in your jungle if the other team is winning. They'll probably be waiting for you or stealing your buffs.

Make sure to get those last hits if you're behind in levels since you'll need the gold.

Most importantly of all is teamwork. Work with your team. Good synergy and cooperation can turn around games. Communicate! We have keyboards for a reason.

A good technique would be to use wards. go through their jungle (when you think it's safe) together as a team and ward their Red/Blue (assuming we're talking about 5v5 here). Then when someone on their team goes for a buff have the whole team go gank them giving you a 4v5 for a bit (and a buff).

If anything could be taken from this post, I would say use wards. Wards win games when used correctly.

Last hitting is something you should always do, it doesn't really matter if you are behind or not.

In my experience you need to play very passive and hope they dive you and then kill them, with Sion this is very easy to do with your stun. Another method is to push your lane a bit and instead of overextending, go to another lane and gank. Sion is a crazy good ganker.

But really the best answer is of course: don't get behind. By wards and if your lane partner is playing bad then tell him what to do.
