@Morello: support options still suck

Its not that we want a more brainless passive and skills, people want them to be effective. Which currently it isnt.

Maybe if the effects on the passive were actually GAME CHANGING to the point where you needed to coordinate which one to use, then it would be good.

But extra damage, measly dmg reduction, and a minuscule slow, doesn't matter which one you use, the effect is not noticeable.


EDIT: Another big problem I have with Sona is that she needs A LOT of AP and CDR to be good, but she also needs at least 2 survivability items, she also MUST have Tear of the Goddes. AP, Mana, CDR, Survivability.....it's just a lot to have to itemize for on a gold starved champion.

I like healers too :/ but I can see where Morello's coming from when he talks about how sustained frequent healing is harmful.

What confuses me is, they had already talked about this a lot before Sona got her rework (A rework which I like and am enjoying very much btw), but even with her rework, her heals are still sustained and frequent.

Why not change them to bigger and less frequent/more expensive like you guys had said? Is the champion design really that delicate that you can't just change something like that?

I can only agree... I feel like she's the only thing preventing Morello from going all NMST on my Taric and Sona :/

Well to be honest he does come from Guild Wars and the healers and prot (monks) got a lot of hate because two of them were basically mandatory in GvG. I did enjoy prot just a bit over healing.

Still he's kind of a **** to the players that like support.

That was the point of the changes. By building AP and going a damage route, you gain way more damage than before, but at the cost of less overall supporting power. (you still gain a little bit of AP ratio).

A character should not be able to be super high supportive power and super high damage at the same time.

Anytime there is a problem with imbalance, its when the characters' powers are not compromised for a defensive/supporty route. While support characters are innately pseudo-defensive, being able to build *hard* tank and support is a problem, which is why most supportive items are soft-tank.

In addition, by going AP you sacrifice supportive utility for damage. Its really all about choosing what you build wisely depending on what you want.

How is 20% damage reduction not a lot... I fail to see that...
