Forums are tough to deal with on both sides.

The designer gets lots of feedback but has to sift through tons of noise to get the real gems that'll help him do his job.

The posters on the forum never get the impression their idea really mattered or that anyone is listening because there's no way to determine if the designer was thinking of doing their idea the whole time, or if they genuinely turned a gear in the designers head that caused some beneficial change.

The system works best when both parties agree not to be overly hostile to one another as a whole and keep their desire to tell the other to sit back and take a dose of their side of reality in check.

People don't even agree on what's best for the game. They do know what they like, and dislike. That's information, but design-by-committee isn't a method that works with any sort of userbase.

Morello, I know you probably hear more QQ than praise, but to be honest, I play League of Legends because I know it has a team of employees who actually give a **** about the game and it's community.

People might give you a lot of ****, but I have huge respect for you because of how open you are in talking to us, the players. The ability to talk to us and put up with most of the QQ is something that pretty much every other game company doesn't have.

So why the um... Nerfs to 'X to the Z' as it were because of Low ELO?

If we got together as a committee and said "Who wants to nerf Xin Zhao by (insert changes in patch notes) for lower Elo players?" we would never say yes, even if (purely hypothetically- I do not speak from experience here) it was gamebreakingly overpowered in that bracket.

its called being a smart company, high elo players account for about 1% of the playerbase and mid-low is the hyper majority, balancing for these people and keeping them pleased and in the game is best for the company, don't get me wrong they should balance for high elo when something is just bat **** crazy OP and you can't adapt to it. But high elo know how to adapt to most changes.

Speaking, this latest buff will put maokai on the same tier as the other tanks, I you guys did a great job of tweaking him since he was released.

Now just don't cave in and nerf him when people eventually realize this and QQ because new things are scary.

Nice comeback xD Seriously, I liked this patch. Seems a lot of you people just want OP champs, you get comfortable wih them and then when they are balanced its a big storm of sad people. Even after some of my main champs were nerfed I still played them and did fairly decent. You just have to start trying and get used to the new way to play them. Seems like a waste of time to reply because I will have all the sad people up my butt about my opinions and thoughts. GJ with the patch Morello!
