Skype is way better if your computer can handle it. I have been in skype and vent at the same time and when people in both talk I hear the person on skype first then on vent. Vent has the longer lag between talking but vent is better for larger groups.

I personally prefer skype but this is something awesome this guy is offering for free and I fully support it.

The only time I use skype is when I have to talk to people over sea's. Vent is more of a US thing. I notice a lot of my friends in the UK lag a bit in vent but are free of it in skype. Though vent is just nice to have
