Tonight, we will be switching over our Credit Card payment option to our new and improved Payment System.
With this new system, we are going to address stability issues with the payment process itself that occasionally occur during times of high capacity. It will also facilitate improvements on the backend of our system which will make the process of using a credit card in our store even more reliable and secure.
The test runs of this system have been extremely successful, and all of our other payment options that are already running on this system are performing flawlessly.
All of your previously stored payment data, except for credit card profiles that have been added within the last month, will be fully integrated and available. We apologise to anyone whose credit card profile is missing, and we encourage those players to return to the Store to re-enter their details.
The actual process of switching to the new system will not require a server downtime, but only our store to be unavailable for 10-15 minutes. Playing games, using our PvP.net client, and buying champions, skins or runes is not going to be affected by this; This only affects the actual billing system.
