Uh oh, I don't like this idea, because I can just imagine people making 'keygens' and earn riot points this way. Unless of course Riot can come up with a way where this situation isn't possible, then I love it!

Certain aesthetic items can only be purchased through Riot points. Skins are one of these things. Most things that can be purchased with Influence Points can also be purchased through Riot points. This includes champions not flagged as free to play.

I was under the impression, from reading an interview that was posted before, that no champion was going to take riot points specifically to use, and influence points could also unlock them. Is this not the case?

If im correct in the wording of that statement. Then yes you can use influence pointso n champions just not on custome champion skins. To my understanding most items will be available for purchase with influence points, probably rare or limited items such as skins will us only riot points though, items i might add that only affect the asthetics and not actual gameplay.

Rial, your initial impression is correct. You can buy ANY gameplay-influencing item with influence points. You can buy these PLUS MORE with Riot points. PERHAPS there are (as of yet unannounced) things which will ONLY be purchasable with IP.

Hmmm nice, how about the 10$ in Riot points that i get from pre-order, i'll receive them now? or i'll need to way until release?

Btw the store coming out means that the champions will be locked? Or will be like i bought every champion?

Lemme see if i get it. Should i have no access to USA based shops, i have to wait till the open beta ends, and the game launches a release version to get shop items?

7-Eleven and Best Buy?

Sadly dont have either in my area. Though there is a Target and Gamestop right next to my place. I hope theyll hit both stores soon.
